So, there have been a few of these for-sale review sites launching lately, and I’m slightly curious as to the whole thing. The newest to be announced is ReviewMe by the folks that brought you Text Link Ads.
The basic premise as discussed on the site:
What does ReviewMe do?
Advertisers, you pay to get your stuff reviewed by bloggers. Bloggers, you get paid to review their stuff.
I like the idea of this one more than PayPerPost because it seems there is more transparency in the purpose, as well as less control over the payees to make sure the reviewers write positive reviews.
If this works, I’ll definitely be giving it a try. I’d love to make a bit of cash for being honest about something, so long as that’s the case. What do you guys think?
