TICKETMASTER IS THE DEVIL

I really mean it. I want to say about 300 bad words right now, but I’m using self-control.

But they’re sons-a-bitches. I can tell you that.

I just tried to buy the Shins tickets online (pre-sale) and they want $7.50 per ticket as a convenience charge. PLUS more money to ship them, $2.50 even if you want to print them out on your printer - no shipping. AND an additional $3.55 per order for who knows what.

I’d rather pay a scalper.

So tomorrow, Holly is going down to the Crystal Ballroom at 11:30 to buy the tickets, and will only pay $1.00 service fee (which I still don’t really understand… We’re paying someone to sell us a ticket, which they’re already making money on… Doesn’t make sense.)

Anyway, I’m just pissed. I wanted those tickets tonight, and but i refuse to pay Ticketmaster almost $20 for the privelage of selling me tickets.

GAR.

This won’t help you now, but… there’s a company in Portland trying to change that ticket world:
