ps i have never wanted to grow a beard myself
but i am always paranoid about a secret mustache appearing
that everyone else can see
but for some reason i can’t
(you know you’ve seen women like this
i mean they have to not see it…
but how can they not see it?
i bet there’s yahoo group on this very subject)
& my friends won’t tell me because they don’t want to hurt my feelings
& when i’m not around people say
‘do you know emily?’
‘emily who?’
‘you know the one with the mustache’
‘oh yeah…how does she not see that?’

pps all women worry about this…
so it’s not a bad idea to say to your wife every once in a while
‘i love you smooth naked upper lip….’
