I recently got this in my inbox at work, and the whole office ground to a halt for at least 10 minutes as we watched in horror/amazement.
So, here’s the freakiest part. I instantly knew what movies this was. Instantly.
Does anyone else out there want to guess?

Breaking 2 “Electric Boogaloo”
Does knowing it mean you’re admitting to have watched the movie? The whole thing?
I haven’t a clue, but it’s solidly late 80s or early 90s. I could check IMDb, but wouldn’t that be cheating?
I’ve gotten one “almost” right answer, and to keep it interesting, I’m holding it until a few more people have a chance to guess. But so he gets the recognition, Tom Peil answered first, and is really really close.

I love you for posting this!!!!!! I watched both Breakin’ and Breakin 2 last fall. Back in the days of Switchcomb Regan I listened to the soundtrack of Breakin’ on my walkman.
My favorite line from Breakin’ was when 0-zone was speaking about the surprise breaker chick who destroyed Turbo and him on the dance floor. He says with dead seriousness, “She was good.” Kelly steps up and replies with conviction, “I’m better.” The acting was atrocious. If you don’t remember this part, you need to watch it.
I love how you said you watched the Van Damme clip in “horror/amazement”. That captures it exactly. I might add the words “embarrassing glee”.
p.s. Can you PLEASE send me the clip? I must have it.

I am embarrassed to admit that I immediately remembered seeing this, and not because of the horrific Van Damme dancing, but because I spotted the chick in the horrible half-shirt-and-thong-over-the-tights combo, rockin the sweatband. She is only in the clip for a split second, max two, and I instantly remembered watching this movie. MANY TIMES. Because I am fairly sure you were obsessed with it. You’re welcome. I am pretty sure it is Breakin’ also. The first one.

okay- she wasn’t wearing a sweatband in this clip, but I would bet a week of washing dishes (for you Jay Jay) that she wears them at another point in the movie. sorry.
Great Movie. In fact i learned how to dance while watching this movie. Kind of like Patrick Dempsey in “Can’t buy me Love” when he learned the African ant eater ritual! except better.
All I know is….everytime i see this clip of van damme dancing…I’m happy because I know I have the weekend to look forward to! Not to mention this clip is hilarious!
