Alright. I often joke about looking forward to being a disciplinarian father when Holly and I ever get around to having kids. And I also often joke about the state of America and how nobody really fears punishment these days. That crime just seems to be increasing because our punishment system isn’t severe enough to be a detractor. This is normally where I chime in that public humiliation and bringing back the public stocks should be implemented. It’s more of a way to get a rise out of people or see how they feel about certain things, and I’m easily entertained by ridiculous conversations.
However, when I saw this video, again, my mind wandered back in time to a day where this kid would get the living sh!t kicked out of him after pulling a stunt like this. And that there is no way in hell he’d be seen on camera for days or weeks without fear and trembling and honest remorse visible in his soul. Instead, he seems to be bragging about what he did, and thinks a weekend without video games would be plenty of punishment for his “hood rat” stunts. Come on people… am I really that off?

That dudes got it figured out. He’s underage so he won’t get busted, and his grandma is helpless because she seeks to remedy his behavior by beating his ass. She blows her cover by telling the judgmental public how she would deal with it. She should have said, “he’s grounded for life”, THEN go home, beat his ass, ground him for life and never let him touch a video game till he’s 18. She’s the dumb one, not the kid. His job is to try and get away with shit.

What, is this kid for real?!? So when my lil man is old enough to start talking and rips out of my driveway in my SUV and his explanation to me is that he just wanted to do “thug life stuff with his friends” I’m pretty sure I just lost as a parent…and I guess I’ve gotta stop listening to my DJ Clue mix tapes. Seriously though, someone needs to help him understand what he just did!
